Carry everything to God in prayer!

There is a 19th -century song ,"What a friend we have In Jesus" with a line that reads "what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer."

Are you more likely to pray during good times or when things are bothering you?

Do you think God hears everyone of our prayer requests?

Have you given up on prayer because of un answered prayers?

Our prayers are offered to God in times of thanksgiving and distress, in sickness and in health and above all , in faith.

We know that through faith in Jesus' sacrifice, death and resurrection , we have salvation from our sins. And by this we are transformed into God's children . As God's children we can call on our Father any time, any place and under any circumstance.

Tend your soul with prayer!

Thank God for the joy of living the life He is giving you. Thank Him for good health and the people in your life and for His provision.

Let God know of your fears, and everything that hurts and breaks your heart. Pour out your tears before God and he will comfort you. He will bless you and give you peace even in times of trouble.

Jesus reminds us , just as He did His first disciples, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." John 14:27

No matter your circumstances or the path that this life has you on, the Lord your God is with you. You don't have to worry or be afraid. He is with you and will provide all that you need.

Soul Tending...it's a good thing.

Pray The White Spaces

Get this sunrise doodle on the All Things Children's Ministry Facebook group page and in your quiet time write your prayers in the white space. Prayers of thanksgiving, prayers of concern or worry, prayers for family and friends .

Next choose 4 colors of crayons or colored pencils and fill in the spaces with what your sunrise looks like.

Place it in your Bible or journal and later pull it out to look for answered prayers.

    Buddy Jar Prayers

One way to add family prayer time to the day is to place a Buddy Prayer Jar where the family gathers.

Take pictures or draw pictures of family and friends, glue them to large craft sticks and write their name on the stick. Place all of the buddies in a jar.

Each morning or evening family members can take a buddy from the jar and say a short prayer for them.

Make a Buddy Jar for your Sunday school classroom or our weekday Faith based program.

Drip Paint Pots

If you haven't made drip paint pots then you are in for a treat.

These pots make great Mother's Day gifts, Teacher Appreciation gifts or Just Because gifts.

Turn the pots upside down and squeeze acrylic paint so it runs down the sides of the pot. Let dry.

Spray with a clear sealer and add a pretty plant.
