Love In Action!
Simple words and actions change hearts.
Everyday moments are the perfect time to share God's love.

Love In An Action!
Cheering each other on.
Celebrating the good.
Care that is visually expressed.

Love In Action!
 Nourishes the spirit.
Provides words of hope and encouragement which the Holy Spirit takes and applies to an individuals need.

How To Begin

You Need a Magazine

Take any magazine and cut in half
Glue about three pages together to create thicker pages.
Each magazine will give you around 5 or 6 thick pages .

Create A Cover

Cover the front and back with fabric or heavy cardstock.
Here I used fabric created by a dear friend for the cover and the spine.

Stitch the magazine to the fabric cover.
This way if the stables give out the book will still stay together.

What To Put On the Pages

I love to use doodle alphas for messages.
Here are some examples.

Black and white alphas really pop against colorful backgrounds.

If you would like to use these alpha doodles click on the image to download.

On your printer prompt you can print multiples to a a page.

Doodle inside the letters to create your own alpha doodles.

Use them as a whole spread in the book.

Cut apart to create captions.

Click on the photo to download these doodles.

Write messages on fabric with a permanent marker.

Cut out letters from magazines.

Type or write scripture and cut out each word or sentence.

Add fun tabs and paper clips to mark each page.

Add photos, scripture cards, gift cards, your own artwork, personal notes..
creating a keepsake of hope and love.

Gifts from the heart and hands .
Large or small.
Sharing Jesus.

  1. This is just so cool, Belinda! I’ve saved several magazines since the retreat and now I’m going to make a few of these with the fabric cover. I think I’ll stabilize the fabric with cardboard from cereal boxes and use heat and bond to glue them together. Ann G
